Is Naro free?
Naro is free to download. Your first companion is free. Additional companions, backgrounds, motions, and music tracks can be unlocked with Stars, which you earn by showing up. There may be optional in-app purchases for premium content; the core experience is never paywalled.
What happens if I close the app during Focus?
If you're in Gentle Focus, the timer keeps running even when the app is in the background. If you're in Deep Focus, the timer pauses when you leave and Naro waits for you to come back. When you return, you can continue where you left off.
Can I change my companion later?
Yes. The first companion you choose is free and yours. You can unlock others later through the Collection using Stars, and switch between any companion you own. The three you didn't pick at the start become regular locked Collection characters — not gone, just waiting.
Will my goals sync between devices?
At launch, your data is tied to your Naro account and syncs across iOS devices signed into the same account. If Naro becomes available on Android, the same account-based sync model will apply there too.
What account information should I include?
Include your sign-in method, the email shown in Naro if available, and the email you used with Apple or Google. If you used Sign in with Apple and Hide My Email, include the Apple private relay email if you can find it. If the app shows a Support ID in Settings, that is the best identifier to send.
How do I earn Stars?
Stars are earned by completing goals, routines, and markers. Daily and weekly caps exist to keep the system gentle — Naro isn't meant to be farmed. Stars are a small thank-you for showing up, not a scoring system.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to
Settings → Account → Delete account. Your goals, journal entries, collection, and Stars are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. You can also email
support@withnaro.net and we'll handle it manually.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Use the contact form above or email
support@withnaro.net with a description of what happened, the steps to reproduce it, your device model, and iOS or Android version. A screenshot or screen recording is very helpful.
How do I request a refund?
In-app purchases are handled by the store where you downloaded Naro. For Apple purchases, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase. For Google Play purchases, use Google Play's purchase history or refund flow. The store handles refund decisions. If you have trouble, email us and we'll help where we can.
